Millionaire entrepreneur Mo Chaudry shared his secrets for success with Cheshire business leaders at a gala luncheon.

The former TV ‘Secret Millionaire’, one of the UK’s richest Asian businessmen, was guest speaker at the annual Chester Business Club luncheon, held at the Mercure Abbots Well Hotel.

Mo owns the Waterworld complex at Stoke on Trent – the largest of its kind in the UK – as well as the M Club fitness chain.

He has also recently taken a controlling stake in The Pulse Group, a fitness solutions company with connections all over the world, and huge plans for expansion.

Mo said: “I’m honoured to be following in the footsteps of so many esteemed captains of industry who have been asked to speak at this prestigious event.

“I hope that, by telling the story of how I went from sweeping factory floors to earning my fortune, I have been able to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs.

“Hand on heart, I believe that every single person is capable of extraordinary deeds. If you’ve got the right attitude, anything is possible in life – if I can do it, anyone can do it.”

Mo told the gathering how he had to change his attitude from being a victIM, to being a victOR. “Extraordinary motivation and the ability to take risks go hand in hand. But the third thing is never giving up,” he said.

In addition to his business interests, Mo is the manager of World’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall, and sponsors Paralympic medal-winning rower Ian Marsden.
