First look inside amazing new three-storey M Club

JANUARY 14, 2020: First images have emerged of Stoke on Trent’s new M Club gym, which is now just weeks away from opening.

It is being built right next to Waterworld as part of a multi-million pound investment at the Festival Park site.

The gym will be spread across all three storeys of a huge new extension which is currently nearing completion.

The new M Club will boast three fitness studios, a ladies-only area, 50-metre running track, free-weights area, functional training zone, and a swimming pool, plus reception and front-of-house area.

New images show that the facility will be kitted out with all the latest equipment supplied by Congleton-based fitness solutions provider Pulse Fitness.

Mo Chaudry, who owns Waterworld, M Club and Pulse Fitness, said: “The internal fit-out of the fitness club has already started, and we are aiming to be ready and open for April.

“We are kitting it out with all-new fitness equipment which will boast all of the latest technology, including virtual reality and mobile apps.

“This is the first purpose-built private leisure facility to be built in North Staffordshire in 20 years, so it is a really exciting time for us.”

The new look M Club is the latest development in a major investment being made by the entrepreneur.

Other projects currently ongoing at the site include the development of a new 36-hole adventure golf attraction and a children’s soft play zone which will also be located inside the new building.

Ongoing improvements at Waterworld include a new £100,000 wave pool and new, bigger changing rooms as well as Tornado Alley which features four new super-rides, and was officially opened last year.

Mo added: “We offer our customers a better product than any of our competitors. We have got the edge over other water parks, but we cannot rest on our laurels and be complacent about it.

“We want to be the tourism and leisure hub of North Staffordshire and we will do that by eventually becoming the Waterworld Resort.”
